Full Time Professional required at IFRF NET

The International Flame Research Foundation wishes to employ a full time professional to work within its IFRF NET Communications Centre at IJmuiden in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will participate in the further development of this totally new concept of information assembly and dissemination, on behalf of the members of IFRF NET and the international combustion community.

In the initial phase of employment, the successful candidate will work in the project development team undertaking a wide range of tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager. In the next phase, assuming successful development, it is envisaged that he/she will take over full management of the IFRF NET project.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Experience in combustion research and combustion related topics, in relation to industrial application;
  • University degree in a field clearly related to and at least 3 years of post graduate working expertise in this field;
  • Marketing experience plus basic knowledge of Internet publication techniques;
  • Excellent language skills in English;
  • Good communication and presentation skills and experience in Networking;
  • Excellent capability to work independently;
  • Willingness to travel to meetings of IFRF National Committees etc., to promote IFRF NET.
