Ref.: 9907art07

On Friday last, Philipp Staab completed his contractual assignment as visiting consultant at IFRF NET. He commenced working with us one year ago and has been fully involved with the development of the IFRF NET Services.

His contribution to the initial development of the Library and Handbook allowed us to publish the first edition several months before schedule.

Prior to joining us at IFRF NET, we worked as a visiting investigator at the IFRF Research Station initially via the EuroFlam scheme, contributing to the development of mathematical modelling of coal fired systems.

Next Monday he commences working with Daimler-Chrysler in Stuttgart, Germany. But we understand that Philipp will be in a position to continue his membership of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Group – STAG. Initially at least he will continue his role as Secretary to STAG. So we will meet him again in Växjö at the end of September. Meanwhile we wish him all success in this new phase of his career!
