AFRC Spring Meeting 2002 From the Communications Centre Contributed by Eddy Chui/Lois Brett IJmuiden, NL, 30th July 2001 - Ref.: 0107art22 The American Flame Research Committee (AFRC) have made the first announced and call for papers for their Spring 2002 meeting. The meeting will be held on May 8 - 10, 2002 and will be hosted by Natural Resources Canada in Ottawa. The theme of the meeting is ‘Fuel Selection Issues for Industrial Combustion Processes - Meeting Environmental & Economic Objectives ‘ with the main areas of focus being:
Papers related to the above areas, which address issues such as innovative equipment, combustion optimization, technologies for lowering emissions, greenhouse gas reduction, numerical modeling, co-firing and reburn, non-traditional fuels, waste and renewables, are currently being sought. Abstracts (single-page) should be submitted by November 30, 2001 to:
