Scientific Director of IFRF Research Station takes up new position at TU Clausthal From the Communications Centre Contributed by Roman Weber IJmuiden, NL, 23rd July 2001 - Ref.: 0107art15
Being with the IFRF gave me a unique opportunity to work on both application and fundamental aspects of combustion technology, heat and mass transfer, and energy management. The development of both measurement techniques and mathematical models has always been at the center of my technical activities. In many ways I was attracted to university-type life that combines education with research. To many of you, it may not be surprising at all that recently I decided to undertake a job at the Technical University of Clausthal (Germany) as a successor of Professor Dr. Ing. Rudolf Jeschar. My intention is to start working in Clausthal on the 1st October, 2001. I see the new job as a natural career development and I look forward to meeting the forthcoming challenges. Meanwhile my responsibilities at the IFRF Research Station will fall into the capable hands of Willem van de Kamp, Executive Director and the highly accomplished research staff working there.
