Today we are pleased to announce the registration of a new Academic Member Organisation, Chungbuk National University, from Korea.

The Main Contact Person for Chungbuk National University is Soo-Young No, who is Professor of the ‘Combustion and Spray Technology Laboratory’ (http://ame.chungbuk.ac.kr/~cstl) in the Department of Agricultural Machinery Laboratory.

Current areas of research interest and activity of the Laboratory are:

1. Combustion
   Spray Combustion in Non-Premixed Swirl Burner
   Development of EHDA Burners for Greenhouse Heating
   Combustion of Water/Oil Emulsified Fuel from Simplex Atomizer
    
2. Atomization and Spray
   Prediction of Critical Reynolds Number on the Stability Curve of Liquid Jet
   Spray Characteristics in Non-Premixed Swirl Burner
   Spray Characteristics of EHDA Burner
   Development of Environmentally Friendly EHDA Sprays for Agricultural Application
   Spray Characteristics of Oxygenated Fuels in Diesel Spray
    
3. Engine Modelling with CFD code
   Diesel Engine Modelling by KIVA and STAR-CD
   Development of Hybrid Atomization and Droplet Breakup Models for Diesel Spray
