Air Quality II: Mercury, Trace Elements, and Particulate Matter Conference

The conference is being held on September 19-21, 2000, at the McLean Hilton at Tysons Corner, McLean, Virginia (northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C.).

Air Quality II is a follow-on to the first Air Quality Conference, which reviewed the state of science and policy regarding mercury, trace elements, and particulate matter in the environment and their impacts on health and ecosystems, emission prevention and control, measurement methods, and atmospheric reactions and modeling.

Air Quality II will provide participants with strategic information on advances made since the first conference and has been expanded to two streams to enable more in-depth coverage of particulate matter issues and the addition of topic areas that include environmental management, indoor/outdoor issues, and urban/rural settings.

Full details on this conference including registration information and the technical programme is available at the following website: http://www.eerc.und.nodak.edu/.

All the above mentioned meetings are referenced in the IFRF Meetings Page - http://www.ifrf.net/ifrf_net/meetings.html . This page is regularly updated and contains information on several other upcoming, combustion related meetings which may be of interest to our readers.
