Combustion Employment Opportunity Dr. Sylvain SALVADOR of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Processes at the Ecole des Mines d’Albi, France (Member of French Flame) has informed us of the following Combustion Employment opportunity: Post-Doctoral Position - Combustion The work is concerned with the combustion of a variety of powdered solid fuels (coal, petcoke, biomass) and the understanding/modelling of particle burnout, and of gas phase unburnt and NO species. The impact of the addition of limestone will be examined. Both experiments with an existing Entrained Flow Reactor and Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling (using a commercial code) will be performed. Location: “Center for Energy and Environmental Processes” UMR CNRS 2392 : Laboratoire de Génie des Procédés des Solides Divisés, Ecole des Mines d’Albi, France (SO, 1 h from Toulouse) In collaboration with an international group for cement plant design and construction.
